think like a winner in order to become a winner! Read our latest
tips to help you think like a winner!
1) Think like a winner! If you don't
think you can win, why bother? You need to KNOW that you CAN win!
Someone has to win, why shouldn't it be you? I am sure that the
one thing most winners have in common is that they knew they would
win.
2) Surround yourself with winners!
You are the company you keep (is that a saying?). Join a discussion
group, a winner's club, subscribe to the numerous sweepstakes
newsletters and learn who is winning, what they are winning and
what they have to say.
3) Be selective. You need to focus
your efforts on entering sweepstakes that you really want to win.
Read the rules thoroughly, keep track of your entries and enter
the maximum number of times per day/week/month, etc. Follow up
with the friends you tell to make sure they are entering the promotion.
If your friends are not interested, find ones that are.
4) Utilize all the various means of entry
available. If a sweepstakes allows you to enter online
as well as by mail, do both.
5) Set a budget for your hobby and stick
to it. You can even break that down and budget for each
sweepstakes. You don't want to spend $100 to win $50!
6) Never pay to enter a sweepstakes.
Never pay for the shipping on prizes you have "won".
A legitimate sweepstakes is 100% free.
7) Set up an email account specifically
for entering sweepstakes. This should be separate from
your personal or business email address as you will receive spam
as a result of entering some sweepstakes.
8) Realize that winning will not happen
overnight. Many sweepstakes have deadlines far in the future
- even a year or more away! It could be weeks or months of entering
on a regular basis before you will start to win.
9) Bring your business card and/or make
up a calling card and bring it with you every time you go out
to lunch. Many local restaurants give away free lunches
every week. Ask the hostess.
10) Be on the lookout for new websites
offering sweepstakes. Since newer sites often have less
traffic than more established sites, there will be less entries,
giving you a better chance to win!
